Terramo is a local-first travel tracker and collaborative trip planner. Core map tracking and personal trips work without an account.
Travel places, visit dates, notes, optional visit photos, wishlist entries, trips, and itinerary items are stored on your device. Selected visit photos remain local. If you enable account sync, supported personal records are copied to your private Firebase account. Shared trips expose only data added to that trip and place snapshots each member explicitly selects.
Optional sign-in uses Firebase Authentication. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement information. Firebase Cloud Messaging stores device tokens when you opt into notifications. App Check helps prevent unauthorized backend access.
Terramo does not sell personal data, show behavioral advertising, or perform cross-app tracking. Product analytics, when enabled, exclude notes, addresses, invite tokens, and raw travel history.
Invite previews contain sanitized trip metadata. Notification previews use generic text and routing identifiers; they do not include itinerary details, destinations, notes, or addresses.
You can export your data, reset local data, revoke shared-map consent, disable notifications, delete cloud data, and delete your account from the app. Account deletion removes personal cloud data and non-owner shared memberships; owners must transfer trip ownership first.
